Hassan Ally Leaves Club

HASSAN ALLY MOVES TO PASTURES NEW

FRIDAY 24 MAY 2019

The club would like to thank Hassan Ally for his contribution over the last three seasons, following his decision to move on after a successful trophy-winning campaign with The Villagers.

Hassan joined Melford in 2016 and went on to play 125 matches for the club, scoring 18 goals.

Hassan was Supporters' Player in 2018 and scored in his final league game against Thetford, when a 3-1 win secured Premier Division status.

He rounded off his spell at the club earlier this month, lifting the Thurlow Nunn League Challenge Cup after the team’s 1-0 win over Fakenham Town in the final at Diss.

Hassan said: “Thanks very much to the committee and fans at Melford for their support over the last three seasons, I will miss the club a lot. Also to the players and management who are top drawer. It’s been the best time of my football career but I’ve decided to move on to try something new.”

Manager Jamie Bradbury added: “Above all, Hass is a top lad and will be missed. He’s been a credit to us on the pitch and has been an important part of our successes in his time at the club. I’d like to thank him for all his efforts and support in my time as manager, and wish him all the best for the future. Wherever he goes he will do well, and I suspect he’ll have a few clubs looking to secure his signature for next season.”

  •  Meanwhile, the management are working away behind the scenes on plans for pre-season and will have the programme of friendlT fixtures confirmed soon. With a couple of spots left in the calendar, teams looking for midweek friendlies during July, please drop us a line.
