Reserves Report v Cornard (league)
LONG MELFORD RES 2 - 2 CORNARD UTD RES.
THURLOW NUNN RESERVE LEAGUE - WED 02 OCTOBER

This was an entertaining game in front of a decent crowd, and the final result was a fair reflection of the game.
After 32 minutes Melford went ahead when DAN SMITH converted from 15 yards.
After 52 minutes Cornard deservedly levelled when DAN BROWN scored from the edge of the box, after a scramble in the area.
After 71 minutes Cornard took the lead when BEN WELCH scored a neat goal from 16 yards.
On 74 minutes Melford levelled when George Day chipped a fine pass over the Cornard back line, and CALLUM HEMSON ran through to coolly slot home.
Both teams had chances to find the winner but the woodwork or a lack of finish ruled the day.
